The 27th of April Stockholm 59°North goes to the city of Nyköping to celebrate the Day of Dance with the program RENTRÈ, the afternoon highlights the rich swedish dance heritage.
The group performs a program exclusively with excerpts from or created for The Royal Swedish Ballet dancers and artists.
Choreographies from 1700’s century historic dances til’ todays creations of modern work and music by Cecare Bossi, Franz Berwald and Stefan Nilsson and others.
And of course this being the hometown of Grand Dame of Dance – Birgit Cullberg – we are bringing something special for the occasion!
